Lindsi

Me Lindsi Britti and Tina NYC 2004 I've known Lindsi forever- but we just recently became close. She's very tough and aggressive, she "beats up" on her boyfriend all the time, has a foul mouth, and is going into the army. She brings a little flavor into my life- the constant arguements between her and her boyfriend entertain me at lunch and her constant running her mouth about beating up every girl she doesn't like reminds me that I'm still in highschool... But then there is a soft side to Lindsi that only I get to see- because she trusts me and comes to me for advice and knows that I'll be there for her because she considers me her best friend. Early Sunday morning (around 6:30!) I received a phonecall from her, she was upset about what had happened the night before with her boyfriend. They were suppose to go out after he got done work- well his boss got him drunk and took him home with him because he didn't want him to drive- and joe passed out and never called Lindsi, so she got really worried. They had plans to go out with another couple around 4 and she looked for him until 9:30 when joe's dad and her finally found him at joe's boss's house. She was angry and upset- and was planning on breaking up with him because this wasn't the first time he's had problems with alcohol, because it's always getting him in trouble somehow. Well I talked to her, she was crying- she really loves this boy, but she knew that she can't just have him walk all over her all the time. I gave her some advice to give him another chance, and that everyone makes mistakes- but you need to tell him the consequences if something like this happens again- that you're not going to put up with it, it's irresponsible- dangerous and makes you worry all the time. Well today I saw them and they are doing fine. It's nice to know you helped out your friend and actually gave them some solid advice for them to listen to. Joe came up to me and thanked me because he said that Lindsi probably wouldn't have gave him another chance if it wasn't for me and that I saved their relationship- and I'm glad because despite their fights and her "beating" him up all the time lol- they are perfect for each other and they are an awesome couple. Friends come and Friends go, but the ones that truely care about you and want the best for you are the people you will never forget. They give you good advice, are there to listen, and you can always count on them to put a smile on my face. I'm glad I got to be that friend today.

A new Blog

So this is my new blog, I basically made this one because every time I'm at school or on someone else's computer and I try to write in my aol one, It NEVER WORKS for me... and It's really annoying! I had an off the hook weekend. Friday I went to Sea Isle with Becky- yes Becky, the one I used to rant and rave about all the time and tell everyone I didn't like her. Well we had an awesome time. We are alot alike and I'm really glad we hung out, she is great. Ricky met us there after work and we all hung out at Frankie's beach house- "Chilled" out for awhile and then got pizza then we went to the beach and walked around for awhile- then to the arcade where we played like little kids but had so much fun- I def lightened the mood a little from my silliness HAHA! I passed out on the way home and Ricky was mad at me because I always sleep everytime we drive in the car lol... But I was really tired. Saturday I woke up and that whole incident with my neighbor happened with my dad and the police came and everything. Then I went over Ricky's and we were suppose to get my engagement ring fitted at dondero's but of coarse he wasn't ready, like usual- he still had to get a shower, finish his laundry, do his hair, brush his teeth... We were suppose to meet up with Jenn and Cory around 3-3:30, or coarse we were late, and I didn't even get to get my ring fitted. we went to a sports bar, then to the atlantic city surf game. There was fireworks after that were absolutely gorgeous. Then we went over Cory's house and watched a comedy video- it was fun, He was mad his sister came home though LOL... It was a good night all in all... Then Sunday me and Ricky went on our dinner cruise. It was sooo much fun, and It was so romantic, the food was amazing, filet mignon and shrimp (that I gave to Ricky because I dont eat seafood blah!) and the view was spectacular! We were suppose to go all the way in by the city (Manhattan) and around the Statue of Liberty, but since it was Memorial Day Weekend, the US coastgaurd wouldn't let us- It was still amazing I got alot of Pics and I was really pleased and happy we went. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get home- and OF COARSE, I slept... lol

Then yesterday was memorial day and Ricky spent the night over my house the night before because we got home so late- so he wind up waking me up around 8- I was like ahhh... But it was nice having him there in the morning. We layed around for most of the morning then decided to go down to the beach. So we went to Sea Isle again around 12 and Becky went with us- Ricky probably looked like a pimp laying in between us lol- then we went over Frankies and had some BBQ and while Ricky played poker with the guys (and frankies twin sis karen) me and becky went and walked on the sea ilse prominade- we just talked and walked- we got to know each other really well... I'm so glad we started hanging out- I have alot of fun with her. Then we went to the Ocean City Boardwalk and got Mac and Manco's MMMM SOOO GOOOD! we were going to walk on the boardwalk a little, but it started to sprinkle, so we just left and went and saw Daniel (the guy becky's talking to) at his beach house for a little. It was funny because this girl jenny was there, and she graduated last year from my school, and I was so mean to her while she was there- I felt bad lol... That was my lovely weekend, It was fun- Now a whole week of school and work... BLAH
